Squirro is Cited as a Strong Performer in Cognitive Search Evaluation

Augmented Intelligence Provider Recognized for Its Unique Approach to Cognitive Search, Encompassing Cross-Industry SaaS Business Applications, AI Studio, Cloud Data Connectors, and Pre-built Applications

Squirro, the Augmented Intelligence solutions provider, today announced that it has been positioned as a Strong Performer in The Forrester Wave™: Cognitive Search, Q3 2021.

Forrester, a leading global research and advisory firm, identified the 13 most significant providers in the field of cognitive search and evaluated them on 26 criteria. Forrester highlighted Squirro’s "unique approach to cognitive search" and emphasized its cross-industry SaaS business applications, AI Studio that allows non-data scientists to train and deploy custom machine learning models, and the strength of its pre-built applications.

"Being recognized by yet another analyst firm for the strength of our Cognitive Search solution confirms the progress we have made and the value that our technology provides to customers," said Dorian Selz, CEO, Squirro. "We combine Cognitive Search with AI in our bespoke business applications, enabling us to work with organizations such as the Bank of England, which is leveraging Squirro’s Cognitive Search to power enterprise search across the organization."

Squirro’s Cognitive Search gathers data from internal and external sources and takes into account context and user intent when conducting searches. Using AI, Squirro Cognitive Search delivers more relevant results to the user, boosting productivity and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of search. It’s an application that has been proven to reduce search times by up to 90%.

World-leading organizations have seen such benefits from adopting Squirro Cognitive Search, using it to drive an innovative digital transformation strategy. A recent project with the Bank of England shows how Cognitive Search is delivering key benefits to their Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) division, improving regulatory monitoring, reporting, and compliance, by allowing users to easily search through documents and emails from their file systems.

"Keyword-based enterprise search is outdated and not fit for purpose in the knowledge economy," continued Dorian Selz, Squirro. "We have put vast time and resources into the development of our Cognitive Search app so that it meets the search requirements of modern enterprises based on context and intent. That’s why it is so gratifying to be recognized by independent analysts in reports such as this one."
