Humans Make or Break New Technologies
As long as humans are in play, ethics is a necessary consideration for emerging technologies. But it is not enough to introduce AI and technology into school systems early, we need to ensure that the education is based on practical, real-life knowledge in order to reap the biggest benefits and equip people for the future work market. Misinformation around AI still makes this adoption challenging, as does the human prevalence to stick to old routines and not trust new and better options that are available.
How to Nurture the AI Ecosystem of Today
Predictions around the effects of technology in the future can be great, as long as they don’t take away the focus from taking real action today. To create a better future, it is necessary to foster an ecosystem based on sustainable values and goals to create an accessible environment where people can learn about the benefits of AI. To do so, it takes an understanding of what people really need and put them at the center of the story, rather than the technology itself.
