Zurich – November 18, 2019 – Augmented intelligence solutions provider Squirro is to partner with Financial Services (FS) experts and technology consultancy GFT Technologies SE (GFT), which will now integrate Squirro’s technology in environments for clients and prospects keen to extract insight from unstructured data.

GFT is one of the world’s foremost technology consultancies, working with leading FS firms all over the world to provide them with the latest and most innovative technology solutions, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, and data analytics.

It works with a number of technology partners to deliver individual digitalization solutions for any demand and the partnership requirements with Squirro, allowing GFT clients and prospects in Swiss FS to extract actionable insight from large volumes of unstructured data.

“For our partners, we always look for something innovative and unique, and Squirro certainly fits the bill on both counts,” said Luciano Rizza, Managing Director and Head of Consulting at GFT Switzerland. “Its Insights Engine is remarkably powerful and is capable of transforming elements of FS with its ability to extract deep insight. Unstructured data is rich with potential but so few organizations have the means to manage it effectively.”

Squirro’s Insights Engine uses Augmented Intelligence to extract data from unstructured data, such as premium data services, financial filings, earnings calls and much more. This data holds much deeper insight than structured data but for many organizations, extracting this insight is a significant challenge.

As FS firms increasingly seek to differentiate themselves by gaining a deeper understanding of their customers and the opportunities that are available to them, they are missing out on the insight that can deliver this understanding.

“GFT has a rich heritage in technology, as well as a renowned reputation for understanding the needs and requirements of its FS clients, so it’s the ideal partner for Squirro,” said Miguel Rodriguez, Chief Sales Officer, Squirro. “FS has always been a strong market for us and working with GFT will bring our technology to even more of the biggest and best-known FS providers.”

Squirro presents actionable insight based on its analysis of unstructured data in a 360-degree client cockpit, making it easy for users to see the bigger contextual picture around their clients. The new partnership will see GFT offering these services to existing clients, as well as new prospects.
Presenting the latest and most innovative solutions, that bring tangible business benefits to clients, is a key part of GFT’s proposition, and the company believes the demand for such solutions is only going to grow in 2020.

“FS firms want to derive greater value from their unstructured data, but they have been uncertain as to how best to go about this,” continued Luciano Rizza, Head of Consulting at GFT. “Squirro’s solution is innovative, ground-breaking and a highly effective way of delivering this value to banks and other FS providers, bringing insight from unstructured data directly to users via the client cockpit.”
