Despite increased adoption, tangible business impact remains elusive for many organizations. 

In the 18 months since ChatGPT's launch in November 2022, Generative AI has transformed business operations. The initial wave brings to the surface the financial sector's wide range of deployment use cases, making it a compelling lens to review disruptive technology and its market-product fit.

However, in 2024, as the industry moves past the initial excitement of generative AI, we now find ourselves at the critical breaking edge, where deploying an all-encompassing GenAI model within organizational operations comes with unprecedented complexity. This difficulty explains why just 11 percent of companies have adopted generative AI at scale, according to McKinsey analysis: “Getting to scale requires CIOs to focus on fewer things but do them better." 

 Dr. Selz elaborates:

 "If you take a step back and look through an IT angle, it's a collection of IT boxes that don't talk to each other. For the first time in my 30 years of experience, you can interconnect these different boxes. Who says it has to be a human chatting with a machine? Why can't machines chat with each other? When you think this through, you unlock a whole roster of additional applications. You need more refined solutions than a standard setup. A bit of vectorization, a bit of chain, a bit of an LLM—it's not sufficient for any enterprise, especially not for these types of cases. Over the past 12 months, we've been continuously expanding our enterprise-ready platform to incorporate additional elements. And that in itself is transformative."
